We are thrilled to share the success of our recent visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, organised by Enterprise Estonia / Trade with Estonia in collaboration with Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and our local partners LEVER BRIDGE COMPANY and Brands Beyond Border Marketing. 🇪🇪🤝🇸🇦 8 distinguished Estonian food and beverage companies had the unique opportunity to explore the rapidly developing #Saudi market and its vast potential. 👉 Here’s what our participants had to say about the visit: Taavi Sepp from Öselwise OÜ observed: “The Saudi market is evolving at an impressive pace. Testing, testing. This time, the #sustainable tourism opportunities in Estonia. In the first week of September, Visit Estonia hosted the #German tour operators' study trip in cooperation with the German sustainable tourism organisation forum anders reisen e.V. (FAR). The guests experienced sustainable tourism firsthand across the islands of Hiiumaa, Saaremaa, and Muhu, with a touch of the capital, Tallinn. The itinerary featured a range of active elements, including canoeing and hiking through the scenic Marimetsa bog in Läänemaa.  "FAR is made up of around a hundred tour operators and organises climate-friendly and sustainable tours all over the world. The tour operators who came to Estonia were mainly interested in tours with a varied activity programme (in German Multi-Aktiv-Reisen, for example tours with hiking, cycling, canoeing, kayaking) and nature tours, but also in products for women and culture-focused travel programmes, such as Estonian art trails, Estonian literature trails, etc.," says Evely Baum-Helmis, Project Manager for the German market at Visit Estonia. Visit Estonia’s collaboration with the FAR organization began earlier this year, marking the start of a sustained partnership aimed at showcasing Estonia’s sustainable tourism products to the German market. Following this, the FAR annual meeting in May, which laid the groundwork for a successful product tour in September. This is just the beginning, as both organizations are committed to continuing their efforts into next year, with plans to deepen the growth of sustainable traveller segment. #respectfultraveller #green #active #tinyfootprint #visitestonia
