Just Ask: Crafting Questions That Open Doors 🎆 Hey, Friends! In our previous post about #coaching https://lnkd.in/dPnfxyqc we explored its general concept and benefits. Today, as promised, we’re diving into real-life use cases—because while theory is convincing, what about practice? But first, let’s discuss a crucial coaching tool: questions. Not just any randomly asked or poorly structured questions, but well-crafted, thought-provoking ones. The last are central to coaching sessions, and the deeper they go—whether it’s about identity (“Who is the ideal partner you aspire to be?”) or values (“Why is becoming a TikTok influencer important to you?”)—the more they help clarify your motivations and desires. These questions trigger those “aha” moments that can reveal the answers you’re looking for. This was exactly what helped Kate, our CM teammate, to satisfy her coaching request. She wanted to discover her true calling - something that will unleash her potential to 200% and make her life more meaningful and fulfilling. As simple as that. Her coach wasn’t intimidated by the scope of this goal and dove right in. While we won’t describe the entire coaching journey, in Kate’s case, that “aha” question was: “Do you believe there’s just one ‘true’ vocation, or could there be several that change throughout your life?” This question sparked a chain reaction of thoughts for Kate, leading her to question the very idea of finding a single lifelong mission. After all, as Kate pointed out, perhaps there isn’t just one calling you’re destined for—there may be several waiting for you. The key is to experiment and remain open to new challenges. And believe in the power of coaching P.S. If you’re new to coaching and want to learn more, try Coaching for Performance by Sir John Whitmore. It’s short, sweet, and straight to the point.

About us
Founded in 2010, CM Games has grown from a small team of enthusiasts to a modern game and service developer with a team of more than 130 professionals worldwide. We’ve built and launched ground-breaking mobile, VR, and PC games enjoyed by at least 450 million players. Initially best known for our racing series, we shaped a new genre by creating Drag Racing and, later, Nitro Nation series — iconic drag and drift games that persisted at the top of category rankings for a decade and attracted hundreds of millions of downloads. To take the franchise to the next level, we’ve partnered with Mythical Games to work on Nitro Nation World Tour, a next-gen racing game where players can truly own their assets thanks to blockchain technology. VR games are another part of the company's DNA, with our debut game Into The Radius being ranked Steam VR Platinum in 2021 and 2022, and becoming a Meta Quest bestseller following its launch on standalone VR. Having recently announced an upcoming sequel, we continue experimenting with other play modes and settings enabled by this exciting medium. Driven by our mission to create experiences that are loved forever, we continue to faithfully serve our players while pushing the envelope across new platforms and technologies.

Last weekend we supported a great event! We feel very special supporting events like this where young people can find their strength! Thanks TalTech GameCamp for the opportunity! 👾
TalTech GameCamp Lite was nothing short of amazing 🌟 Last weekend, the game jam finally went down. Over the 48-hour event, we had over 230 registrants, of which 197 made 53 games. We broke our previous record of 107 participants and 28 games by almost 2 times. On the spot, we had over 20 mentors, 15 organizers, and 9 volunteers, without whom it couldn't have been a reality. 😎 When we started preparing the event in June, never would I have expected such an outcome. As the day came closer, we thought we might surpass the spring event, but never in our dreams by that big of a margin. We worked day and night for the past 4 months to bring you our website https://gamecamp.ituk.ee, where we could host the entire jam and all of its stages from registration to voting and results! We're still actively updating it until the next event to make it more user-friendly! Hosting it back at the amazing TalTech Innovation and Business Centre Mektory was a delight. The place is accommodating and fantastic for hosting an event such as this. Sponsors like CM Games, Paulig Group, CRITICAL REFLEX, GameDev Estonia, and Placeholder Gameworks put out prizes for the winning teams and mentors' favorite category - we're extremely thankful to you all! Also, thanks to Andri Allas, we can showcase the winners at the upcoming Estonian game expo MängudeÖÖ coming already this Saturday, October 19th! 🚀 We also thank Nortal and TalTech School of IT for supporting our event financially and Pizzakiosk Tehnopol for providing the pizzas yet again! 🤤 I can't thank enough everybody that was a part of it! Aleksei Nehoroshkin, Alisa B., Andrejs Rusinovskis, Antonio Scacchetti, Artur Bassov, Erik Kesa, Heiti Kender, Keijo Julius Räihä, Kevin Otto Koit, Lars Noerby, Leonid Maznitsa, Lev Yakovlev, Lev Samin, Martin Turnpuu, Mike Klubnika, Mikk Luige, Natasha Radina, Nicola Piovesan, Ott Madis Ozolit, Ramil Roosileht, Rasmus S, Riho Kroll, Valeria P., Villem Rootalu, all of the students who helped organize and many-many more helping to share the word around, and of course to all the wonderful participants - from the bottom of my heart, thank you!❤️ Congrats to Karl-Aleksander Vask, Ada Maria Lee, Taavi Pahk, and Adrian Paemurru for winning the jam! 🥇 Your game adSpace is simple, yet sweet! It excellently showcased the "Out of Control" theme by being the "best game we never want to play again"! I'm super glad we also got to go on the Kanal 2 morning TV show Telehommik - truly a memorable experience - to showcase your game to all of Estonia! If anyone wants to play, you can find it here: https://lnkd.in/dTjCK_4g As some of you might've already realized, I decided to dump all the news into one post - I'm not one for regular social media posting and content dripping, but if anything interesting happens, then, of course, I'll let you all know! But until then... I'm Alacris Devs, and this is TalTech GameCamp Lite! See you next year! 🎮❤️ #taltechgamecamp #gamedevestonia

Our talented Head of Audio Team, Ressa Schwarzwald, excelled at the Tier Music seminar From Beats to Business panel discussion about the game industry together with Andrejs Rusinovskis and Duncan Smith. Thanks to the dedicated organizers and team members for your exceptional efforts in making this event a success. Your hard work and commitment truly made a difference 🎶 🎮
Had a great time at From Beats to Business seminar in Tallinn by Tier Music and FAAR Music studio. I’ve been one of a few gamedev people there among all of the talented musicians, singers, songwriters, producers, and other professionals from the industry that seems close enough but appears to be the whole new world for someone like me. Been so excited to talk about the differences and similarities between our industries, and about possible collaborations that I feel might be amazing for game audio industry ❤️ I totally enjoyed our panel about the game industry with Duncan Smith and Andrejs Rusinovskis — so cool to have an opportunity to see things from the perspective of a professional working at a huge production company, or an association of game developers. Thank you Thea Zaitsev Sandra Perens and Kertu Mägar for organizing this event! Special thanks to Nikolina Finska (she/her) and Jorma Finska for having recommended me as a speaker!
