Abstract
This session treats the application of mathematical tools to the analysis of computer system behavior. Topics include the validation of some commonly used models of program behavior, a framework for simulation of congestion problems, an analysis of the dynamic clustering of page references, and a design for a data communications handler based on a queuing model.
