Interactive simulation gaming for energy-policy analysis

Published: 30 May 1979 Publication History

Abstract

This paper describes the design and implementation of a multiple player interactive simulation game in APL for use in education, policy analysis and planning in energy-environment related systems. The “Regional Energy-Environment Game” makes use of APLSV's shared-variable feature to establish communication links between players as well as to provide an interface between these players and an analytical model of an energy-environment system.
