The Design and Optimization Method of Warehousing and Distribution System for Electric Energy Metering Equipment Based on Smart Logistics

Published: 31 July 2024 Publication History

Abstract

The logistics industry has gradually developed with the development of transportation facilities. In this Internet age, online shopping is becoming more and more popular, so the demand for logistics and distribution of goods is also increasing. Therefore, the logistics, warehousing and distribution methods need to be improved to meet the volume demand and speed requirements. The demand for electric energy metering equipment is because users need to measure the amount of electricity used. Therefore, in this situation where basically every household has access to electricity, there is also a huge market for electric energy metering equipment. In order to enable electric energy measurement tools to be sent to various places in a timely and effective manner, this article designs and optimizes its warehousing and distribution system, starting from the technical aspects of smart logistics, improving distribution efficiency, and analyzing measurement indicators of existing logistics capabilities from the perspective of smart logistics. This article uses surveys and field observations to explore the integrity rate of electric energy metering equipment in four companies, thereby analyzing the problems of imperfect management and excessive or insufficient maintenance in the storage of this equipment. Based on the survey results, this article designs a warehousing and distribution system, analyzes the relationship between the number of users and the average response time, and the number of requests processed by the server per second to judge the performance of the system. At the same time, the ant colony algorithm and the support vector machine algorithm are combined to compare the systems before and after the improvement. Experimental results show that the improved warehousing and distribution system is twice as fast as the original system in terms of goods warehousing speed.
