Abstract
This paper describes effective implementation of the various functions of Image Processing to adjust the signal timings dynamically depending upon the traffic at real-time. The algorithms are based on edge detection and comparisons of traffic densities at specific intervals of a junction with the ideal density of traffic for that particular junction.
