I am Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Siena, Department of Social, Political and Cognitive Sciences (Dispoc) and take part in the research activities of CIRCaP - Centre for the Study of Political Change (https://www.circap.unisi.it/), of which I was Scientific Secretary (2005-2009).
I teach European Union Politics (LM-52) and, in the years 2016-2018, I acted as coordinator of the Jean Monnet Module “EUReACT” (REpresentation in the EU:ACTing Multilevel Democracy), co-financed by the European Commission (http://eureact.unisi.it/). In 2010-2013, I also coordinated the Master Politics and Society in Europe (MAPSiE). Starting from AY 2020/21, I am teaching Public Policy Analysis and Evaluation (LM-63) too.
Research interests: Europeanization of public policies, multilevel governance, better regulation and impact analysis, administrative reforms, policy implementation. Since two years, I have been studying the implementation of recovery and resilience plans from a comparative perspective, with a specific focus on governance processes.
