Training and Preparations for Canada🍁 Mogens Vejling has been busy with training and preparations for the upcoming workshops in Canada. He has received valuable support from Danphone A/S colleagues, focusing on the various operational functions of our NAVTEX solution, and where the goal of the mission is to train and educate operators on the full range of NAVTEX functions. 🔧 In the coming weeks, Mogens will be traveling to multiple locations where our NAVTEX systems are being implemented. Since each location has its own team of operators, several workshops will be conducted to ensure participants can ask questions and become fully accustomed with the systems. At Danphone, we are committed to providing great service to our customers. That's why we dedicate our best employees to ensure our systems are always fully operational.  🚢 Successful Visit to Bremerhaven’s Port Communication Hub! 🚢 Our Technical Sales Engineer, Jens R. Guldbæk Christiansen from Danphone A/S, recently had the privilege of visiting Bremerhaven, where he met with Mr. Jörn Karweit, head of Inland and Seagoing Traffic at the WSV - Wasserstraßen- und Schifffahrtsverwaltung des Bundes. During the visit, Jens introduced Mr. Karweit to Danphone’s history and extensive product portfolio, with a special focus on our advanced Port Communication Systems. Jens also received a comprehensive tour of the central hub at Bremerhaven, including the VTS/Pilot Control Center, which manages operations for around 60 pilots. Mr. Karweit showed a keen interest in Danphone’s flexible remote solutions and the innovative DSC via AIS call function, which he recognized as a valuable tool to streamline vessel communications and optimize response time. Welcome Benyamin Kanat! We are excited to introduce Benyamin, who joined Danphone A/S in September from Information Studies at Aalborg Universitet as an intern. Since coming on board, Benyamin has quickly added great value to our development team. 💪 In his own words: "I began my internship in September, and it's been an exciting and educational journey from day one. Early on, I was given responsibilities and challenges that have helped me grow—both personally and professionally." Benyamin's main focus is redesigning Danphone's maritime telecommunications systems. As we transition to a web-based solution, he is reimagining the system's user interface to create a more modern, intuitive design. His work not only updates the look and feel of the interface but also optimises key functionalities to enhance the overall user experience. 💡 Benyamin adds, "I'm keen on continuing my internship with Danphone, taking on new projects and further developing my skills in design and usability. I look forward to contributing with solutions that make our maritime communication systems more intuitive and accessible for everyday users." A Warm Farewell to Jane – Wishing You All the Best in Retirement 😊 Last Friday, we said goodbye to Jane as she starts on a well-deserved retirement after 26 years with Danphone A/S. A lot has changed since Jane first walked through the doors at our former location in Pandrup, and she has been a vital part of Danphone’s exciting journey. From our early days developing and producing coastal radio systems, through the introduction of the Futronic GMDSS test box, to where we are today, Jane has played a crucial role in our development. Jane has held a central position within the company, contributing to many areas, from sales and shipping to finance, all while being our "company mum." 💗 Her warmth and enthusiasm also shone through in the staff association, where she brought many enjoyable and memorable moments with colleagues. Whether interacting with co-workers, customers, or partners, Jane was always ready with a smile and a helping hand. We will miss her kind and friendly presence in our daily life at Danphone, but we are delighted for her as she steps into this new chapter. Shipping day - A Proud Moment for Danphone! 🙌🌟 We are thrilled to announce that the first phase of our NAVTEX solution is on its way to Canada. This is a significant milestone, achieved through the hard work and dedication of our development and production teams over the past several months. After a successful FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) before the summer, our talented team has put in tremendous effort to complete this major order.   After inspection by the CSA Group, our transmitter has been approved for the North American market. It is now finally on its way to Canada, to enhance their maritime safety systems. Our collaboration with the Canadian Coast Guard/Garde côtière canadienne continues, not only in the production and testing of the second phase but also in terms of multiple on-site training and education courses.   At Danphone A/S, we take great pride in supporting our customers and providing the service and expertise they need to maximize the value of our products.
