Copenhagen Fashion Week would like to thank Birger Christensen Collective for their continued support of the next generation of Nordic talent as esteemed Patron of CPHFW NEWTALENT scheme for the third consecutive season. In its role, Birger Christensen Collective has provided financial support to the brands participating in the scheme via bursaries earmarked for their showcases during the August edition, as well as advice from Birger Christensen Collective’s CEO, Denise Christensen, as part of the CPHFW NEWTALENT mentor programme. The partnership envelops a shared commitment to strengthening and supporting emerging voices of the fashion industry whilst representing a continuation of mentorship, financial support, and collaboration.

Looking back at the dinner event during the SS25 edition of Copenhagen Fashion Week, hosted by Zalando on Wednesday. The dinner celebrated the creative industries, while highlighting exceptional talent and innovative design.

For the SS25 edition, TAKT provided furniture for Copenhagen Fashion Week's Official Talk program supported by Vogue Business, as well as the CPHFW NEWTALENT showroom. The finalists for the Nordic region’s leading and influential fashion accolade, the Wessel & Vett Fashion Prize, founded by Nina Wedell-Wedellsborg, were announced at the SS25 opening reception by Cecilie Thorsmark, CEO of Copenhagen Fashion Week. A big congratulations to Sunflower, Opéra Sport, Skall Studio, and Stem! Originally known as the Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize, the Wessel & Vett Fashion Prize is dedicated to recognizing the skill and expertise of Danish fashion designers and brands. Established in 2012 by the Wessel & Vett Foundation, the prize embodies the foundation's fundamental values of entrepreneurship and fashion innovation. It stands as a testament to the foundation's commitment to fostering Danish design and innovation, and building on the heritage of Magasin du Nord as a historical fashion institution.
