  • Once again, Carlsberg celebrates Lunar New Year with special limited-edition packaging. This year, Carlsberg has partnered with renowned artists 1983ASIA to create a limited-edition look for its iconic beer to celebrate the Year of the Snake, a time typically associated with prosperity. The two Asian artists behind the design, Yao from Malaysia and Su Su from China, have worked together to combine contemporary art and design with familial traditions that take place during Lunar New Year, helping beer drinkers celebrate in a truly special way.    The artwork concept commemorates the Year of the Snake’s association with wisdom, elegance and transformation, giving Carlsberg’s iconic hop leaf an all-new look for this year’s celebration.  The campaign is part of Carlsberg Group’s broader investments in premium brands, and accelerating growth in Asia  The Carlsberg Lunar New Year limited edition will be able to purchase from select retailers across China, Hong Kong SAR, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. #LunarNewYear

With this immersive training, bar staff can practice pouring beer, earn points for flawless execution, and even receive live feedback from a virtual coach. “We’ve all been served a flat draft beer before—it’s not the greatest experience,” says Morten Vinther, Head of the VR Project at Carlsberg Denmark. “Most people think pouring a perfect pint is simple, but it takes skill.   • Together with partners, we're urging the EU to take swift action to accelerate the shift to regenerative agriculture. Beer is first and foremost a farming product 🌽 We want to make sure our ingredients are sourced responsibly, sustainably - and have set ambitious targets to get there. But it is not enough.   • An ambitious next chapter in our growth story.   We are happy to announce that we have completed the acquisition of the leading international soft drinks business Britvic plc to create a single integrated beverage company in the UK. The combined business will be called Carlsberg Britvic. With the transaction now complete, we are excited to create a highly attractive supplier of beer and soft drinks in the UK, with an efficient supply chain and distribution network.   With this acquisition, we are also strengthening our existing relationship with PepsiCo, becoming their largest bottling partner in Europe.   • Some years back, employees at Carlsberg made a remarkable discovery in the old cellars under the brewery. They found an intact bottle which turned out to be one of the first Carlsberg beers brewed with the original pure yeast from 1883. Scientists from the Carlsberg Research Lab were miraculously able to extract living yeasts cells from the 133-year-old bottle and took it upon themselves to recreate the original Carlsberg lager from 1883, using the original pure yeast. This resulted in the Carlsberg 1883 - a lager beer with a historic taste, brewed on the same original yeast and recipe from 1883 😱 A taste of the past, indeed 👏🏼 #Innovation #CarlsbergResearchLab
