Mission completed - we found the Best Young Arctic Chef ✔ 👨🍳 🔥 For the past six months, Brand Movers together with VIRKA marknaðarføroyingar have supported Nordic Atlantic Cooperation (NORA) in bringing the new cooking competition Arctic Young Chef to life. Our role has been to develop and execute a social media strategy, sharing updates from the semi-final and showcasing the incredible talents of young chefs across Greenland, Iceland, Faroe Islands and Norway. The journey culminated in a grand finale at Harpa in Reykjavík, held as part of the Arctic Circle Assembly. Here Icelandic President Halla Tomasdottir announced the winner, crowning the Best Young Arctic Chef. Watch the video to see a recap from the day. Knæk Cancer 2024 👊🏽 For the past three weeks, Kræftens Bekæmpelse (Danish Cancer Society) and TV 2 Danmark have put the spotlight on cancer—a disease that affects one in three Danes and, directly or indirectly, affects every family. Tomorrow evening, it all culminates in the live show 'Knæk Cancer – et show for sagen', where funds are raised for cancer research, prevention, and support for those affected. In connection with that, we’re sharing Erik’s story—a film we created with our client ProTreatment. Five years ago, Erik was diagnosed with cancer. Today, he’s cancer-free, and his doctors believe his physical strength helped him pull through. We visited our client BEUMER Group for the annual Strategic Review 🧳 Brand Movers sailed to Aarhus to visit Heidi Klit, Peter Elmvang and Jeanett Behrndtz Jørgensen from BEUMER Group at their offices for a full day of training and workshopping. Every year we do a Strategic Review with all our clients. A Strategic Review serves multiple purposes and provides several opportunities: 🏃♀️ Performance review: Together with, in this case, BEUMER Group, we review how our marketing and content efforts performed in the past year and focus on what learnings we can take away. ♟ Strategic review: Based on the performance review we revisit the content marketing strategy and make sure that it’s aligned with new business goals and changes in the market setting our efforts up for success in the coming year. 🧶 Content plan: Finally based on the performance review and the strategic review we develop a content plan for the coming year making sure to align it with the findings in the performance and strategic review. 🎬 Choosing the right format for the platform: A key to campaign success 🎬 When Lån & Spar Bank was recognized by Forbrugerrådet Tænk as the best bank for Andelsboliger, they approached us with a campaign brief for both a TV ad and paid media ads on platforms like Facebook and Instagram. While the TV ad delivered a polished narrative, we knew that success on digital platforms required a different approach. Why? Because each platform has its own language, its own rhythm, and, most importantly, its own audience expectations. You can't simply copy and paste content between platforms—you need to tailor it. For the digital part of the campaign, we chose a native-first strategy by opting for selfie-style videos, filmed mostly directly on a phone. Why? ✨ Authenticity connects: In the crowded digital space, real, unscripted moments resonate far more than overly polished content. Especially when your audience is young, authenticity isn't just preferred—it's expected. 📱 Platform behaviors matter: On Instagram and Facebook, users are used to seeing content made by people, not brands. By adopting a more personal, informal tone, we blend in rather than interrupt, allowing the message to come across naturally. 🤳 Format fuels engagement: Short, snappy videos with a high tempo grab attention and encourage interaction. This is key when your audience is young people looking for their first apartment—they're scrolling fast, and you need to grab them in the first few seconds. The results?
