From Laptops to Social Activities on Our Graduate Introduction Trip 👥   Last week, our graduates in Denmark turned off their laptops and went on a three-day introduction trip to Røsnæs filled with laughs and high spirits.   The agenda not only included team-building activities, where the graduates got the opportunity to get to know their colleagues on a professional level. It also included social activities creating a safe space for them to connect on a personal level.   Joining them on the trip were our colleagues Line Heiberg, Senior HR Business Partner, Margrete Rud Rasmussen, Senior Org. Development Consultant, and Camilla Fussing Marques, Director in Project Management Infrastructure.   When talking about the thoughts behind the introduction trip, Line says:   “The aim of the trip was for the graduates to build relationships across the different departments. Through the graduate program, we are developing the next generation in Aeven. They have joined us with a fresh set of eyes and a great portion of curiosity, which is beneficial to our organization. Aeven establishes new branch in Budapest 📣   In November, we will expand our business with a new office in Hungary to meet the increasing demand for nearshore delivery centers in Europe.   As one of the leading forces in establishing the new office, Martin Szilagyi, Associate Vice President of Aeven Cybersecurity, Network & End-user Services in Czech Republic, is inserted as interim General Manager of Aeven Hungary. The new office will not only enhance our nearshore delivery while supporting our growth in the digital infrastructure market. It will also allow us to tap into the great local talent pool in Hungary.   About the expansion, Lasse Schmidt, Managing Director of Aeven Czech Republic and Hungary, says:   “We’re very excited to open the new office in Budapest. Apart from being able to improve our nearshore delivery setup for our customers, we will also tap into the fantastic local talent that Hungary has to offer. Creating traditions in Aeven to the benefit of others 🙌    Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of young students from Skolen Ved Sundet as a part of our collaboration with Coding Class Cph.     Prior to the visit, the students were presented with a real-life case by our colleagues, Josephine Nathalie Wärme and Laura Nybroe Dampe. We asked the students to provide suggestions on how we can optimize our office space. This resulted in many innovative proposals, and we were very impressed with our future generation.    Apart from presenting their creative ideas, the students got a glimpse into life in Aeven as our talented colleagues Adam Cristea, Lasse Lanng Pedersen, Marie Thyrgaard Jensen and Sara V. Løppenthin Stendevad introduced the students to some of the required skills sets needed in a company like Aeven.    We’re proud to be part of this initiative, as we recognize the importance of bringing coding to the attention of the future generation. Henrik Bodskov Talks AI at CopenhAIgen Forum 2024 💡 How do we unlock the potential of AI in our businesses? Developing future talent plays a crucial role.  Last week, our CEO participated in an insightful panel at CopenhAIgen Forum 2024. With AI transforming industries, it's a tremendous opportunity for businesses to grow and innovate by building the right skillsets. The opportunities in compliance and risk management are often overlooked. When the doors opened at this year’s Innovation & Compliance conference, our colleague Marie Thyrgaard Jensen, Head of Compliance and Risk Management, was among the top of Danish compliance experts.   At the event hosted by Technology Denmark and Digital Dogme, Marie talked about how value-creating synergy is not just a reaction to legal requirements, but a proactive and strategic decision here in Aeven.   “There was a high level of recognition that compliance is growing, and that the complexity is increasing. By viewing compliance as part of the corporate strategy, companies can both meet regulatory requirements and drive innovation. Yesterday, 300 colleagues from Aeven and Sentia came together, laced up their running shoes, and took on the annual DHL Relay Run in Copenhagen 🏃♂️🏃♀️   Before hitting the 5 km route, everyone got their spirits up with a fun round of silent fitness. It was an evening filled with team spirit and support from our cheering colleagues, which ended with food from the grill, drinks, and music in our tent.     In Aeven, we believe that getting together for social events like this one improves everyday collaboration.
