‘The 101 Scariest Horror Movie Moments Of All-Time’

Did streaming kill the clip show? In the late ’90s and early Aughts, cable television was dominated by “clip and quip” style shows like E!’s Talk Soup and VH1’s I Love The… series, but once streaming entered the picture, shows like this fell out of favor as scripted series and reality TV shows gained prominence. If anyone was going to bring this style show back from the dead, we guess it makes sense that it would be the grave-robbing geniuses over at Shudder. We’ve been glued to The 101 Scariest Horror Movie Moments of All Time all month long, as the likes of Edgar Wright, Mike Flanagan, and even the Candyman himself (Tony Todd!) have been counting down the creepiest clips in horror history. As you would expect from Shudder, their rankings are impeccable, and their rationale flawless. We can’t wait to tune in tonight to see what lands at #1!
