ITV plane thriller Red Eye starring Jing Lusi and Richard Armitage has now sold to 120 territories, seller Sony Pictures Television (SPT) has said.
The show, which aired earlier this year, is told over an adrenaline-filled six episodes on an all-night flight from London to Beijing, with shades of Apple TV+’s Idris Elba-starring breakout Hijack.
Buyers include Paramount + for Canada, Netflix for Germany and HBO Max linear in the CEE region. The series also airs on AXN Asia (across Southeast Asia), TVING (Korea), Stan (Australia), and Warner Bros. Discovery (New Zealand), as well as throughout the Middle East on BeIN, and on MNET’s SHOWMAX across Sub-Saharan Africa.
A deal across the U.S., along with Latin America and other European sales are set to be unveiled soon, SPT said.
