🧵 Automated sewing – a milestone achieved by FASTSEWN - Mikkelsen Innovation ApS. The Danish company received the #TexprocessInnovationAward in the 'Economic Quality' category. The patented technology enables digitally controlled automatic sewing and cutting from rolls on a single platform without pre-cutting. Frames and templates no longer have to be loaded and off-loaded manually. Two-dimensional textile products such as industrial filters or customised cushions are automatically transported to a flatbed sewing system, which is able to connect complexe contours and to laser cut patterns.
