☕ Supporting Chiapan indigenous communities through innovation and nature-based solutions to support more sustainable coffee cultivation. ✅ Last week, our team shared valuable insights with industry experts on their Kajve Initiative in Mexico during the International Coffee Convention in Mannheim, and how the initiative is supporting the quality of life of over 1500 local farmers whilst stewarding the environment. 🤝 In collaboration with Solidaridad Latinoamérica we are empowering Chiapan growers through trainings and field work on agroforestry, regenerative soil practices, and agricultural technology. This has already improved their coffee yields up to 35% while improving cup quality and several other aspects! 📢 A big thank you to the team for driving this initiative forward and the growers for enabling a more sustainable coffee value chain. #InternationalCoffeeConvention #AgroEvents #SustainableAgriculture #EmpoweringFarmers

📈 Another milestone for Biological Solutions (BioSolutions) has been reached! Farmers are pursuing more and more sustainable solutions but still seek for ways to increase productivity and remain climate resilient. We want to connect them to the latest technologies and solutions to ensure that they can positively transform agriculture and impact our food systems. We are excited to announce that through a distribution agreement together with Acadian Plant Health™ BASF has now expanded its BioSolutions portfolio to include a new climate-resilient solution, biostimulants derived from seaweed. Biostimulants are substances or microorganisms that have the ability to enhance crop growth, improve stress tolerance and maintain marketable yield.
