  🌍 Sustainable energy solutions for breweries: How to become CO2 neutral Breweries are facing a major challenge: How to meet our CO2 targets by 2030? 🌱 The best way is to reduce energy consumption without major new investments, while optimising production.   Our answer was presented by @Helge Kohler on 4 October at the round table of the Association of Austrian Master Brewers and Brewery Technicians: ZIEMANN Z3RO - a concept that turns a by-product of the brewing process into the main actor. In technical terms, we combine spent grains dryers with heat pumps to generate energy for CO2-neutral heating and cooling.  Even more sustainable where the sun shines: the 💚ZIEMANN GREEN Z3RO dries the spent grains with solar energy 🌞. 💡With or without GREEN - these are the advantages of our concepts:  - Reduction of CO2 emissions  - Saving on energy costs through own production  - Independence from fossil fuels like gas and oil  - Predictable energy costs through sustainable solutions  With these concepts, breweries can be self-sufficient and CO2-neutral and are well equipped for the future! 🍻  (Picture by BRAUWELT) #Sustainability #EnergyTransition #CO2Neutral #Breweries #Innovation #ZiemannZ3RO

"In my dreams, I still build a brewery from time to time," reveals Siegfried Fischer, a long-time Ziemann Holvrieka employee who retired in 2004. Fischer worked at Ziemann Holvrieka for many years and was mainly responsible for planning brewery plants. As his experience grew, he also supported sales and played a crucial role in establishing our business in Mexico. He always advised according to the motto: "Always be honest with the customer!” - a principle that still guides us today. Inspired by his father's passion, his son Martin Fischer also decided to make a career with us. He started his training with us and is still a valued employee, responsible for automation systems and components. In this way, Ziemann Holvrieka unites generations and creates a unique company culture. Even in retirement, Siegfried Fischer remains closely connected to us. He organises trips for our pensioners and often takes part himself. His nightly "brewery dreams" are a testament to the passion that drives our employees even after they have retired.
