Zalando's Q3 Highlights: Strong Growth and Strategic Expansion The third quarter brought achievements and strategic advancements for Zalando. Here are the key highlights: 📈 Impressive Growth in Q3: - Zalando’s gross merchandise volume (GMV) surged by 7.8%, reaching 3.5 billion euros. - Revenue saw a healthy increase of 5%, totaling 2.4 billion euros. 📊 B2B Revenue Growth: - Our B2B growth vector continued to outpace group revenues, increasing by 11.1% to 239.7 million euros compared to last year. 👥 Expanding Customer Base: - Zalando welcomed half a million new active customers, bringing our total to 50.3 million in Q3. 🇫🇷 New Fulfilment Centre in France: - Zalando’s new fulfilment centre near Paris shipped its first parcel in early October. Established in 2023, ZEOS is developing tools that allow brands and retailers to manage their multi-channel business in one place. ZEOS helps fashion & lifestyle industry players unlock Europe’s full potential by enabling seamless e-commerce across the continent: from new market entry and expansion to optimization and business steering. Our journey starts with logistics. The first ZEOS product is called ZEOS Fulfillment. It gives brands and retailers the ability to fulfill their multi-channel sales using one stock pool, one carrier integration, and one user interface. ZEOS Fulfillment takes advantage of an extensive infrastructure spanning 23 European markets, 12 fulfillment and 20 return centers, over 40 carrier partnerships, and 165 localized delivery and returns services. ZEOS is an independently operating unit following strict data compliance rules. Around 350 people work for ZEOS in Berlin and in Stockholm.
