During this time, these up-and-coming talents have a lot of firsts, such as being part of a team, taking responsibility for tasks or putting theoretical knowledge into practice for the first time. At Würth, promoting up-and-coming talents is deeply ingrained in our corporate culture. We are therefore determined to support them in not only acquiring professional skills and knowledge but also honing their social skills, accompanying them in their personal development. Ugo Rondinone is the winner of the 15th Robert Jacobsen Prize 🏆 Congratulations to the Swiss conceptual, media and installation artist! The Würth Collection is honoring the Würth Foundation's prize winner with the exhibition “Ugo Rondinone – solar spirit” in the Belvedere of Museum Würth 2 and in the Sculpture Garden of the Carmen Würth Forum in Künzelsau, Germany. Ugo Rondinone is one of the best-known artists of his generation worldwide and has shown his works in numerous solo exhibitions in London, Paris, Boston, Zurich, Rotterdam and Frankfurt, among others. After all, his monumental groups of works can repeatedly be found dominating public space, whether in urban contexts such as New York and Paris or in the Nevada desert. Just in time, just in place – construction site management with foresight. 🏗️ In densely built-up inner cities, where deliveries through narrow streets and tight time slots are a challenge for trucks, the large FOUR construction site in Frankfurt, Germany, shows how challenges in construction site management can be mastered. Würth's innovative solution makes a significant contribution to this. The completely prefabricated modules for the technical building equipment, on which all piping systems for heating and ventilation are already pre-assembled, reduce 558,000 individual parts to 3,500 assemblies and thus shorten the construction time from 7 days to 2 days per floor. 🚚 Particularly important: delivery reliability and dependability, clear processes and transparency. From circuits to wood fibres🔌🪵: that's Jonas Hohfelser's professional career in a nutshell. After training as an electronic technician for energy and building technology, he started as a junior sales rep at Würth Deutschland eventually took over his own sales territory in the Wood division. The offer to take over the territory came as a surprise to him and presented Jonas Hohfelser with a big decision. "As a trained electronic technician, the Wood division, of course, was the direct opposite of the products and specialist know-how of my previous day-to-day work. But maybe that's why I wanted to take on the challenge and accepted the offer," says Jonas Hohfelser, looking back at that time. As a sales rep in the Wood division, he now serves customers from all woodworking and wood processing trades across Germany. These include carpenters and interior finishers well as window construction or window installation companies. Jonas Hohfelser considers himself a personal advisor, assisting his customers from the preparation of their initial plans to the completion stage.🤝💬 However, his courageous decision was initially characterised by some difficulties and doubts. He also faced headwinds from some around him. But despite these odds, he does not regret his decision: “I now have a successful and great territory where I feel very comfortable," he concludes. Jonas Hohfelser has a valuable piece of advice for anyone who is also faced with making a courageous decision: “Always follow your own instincts, even if those around you are against your decision. For if you are firmly convinced of it, it is the right thing to do. KG to offer a portfolio of 3D printing solutions to the skilled and industrial trades industry throughout Germany. 3D printing enables not only the production of prototypes and workpieces but also opens up possibilities for mass customization. This technology is poised to revolutionize the trades industry in the long term by saving time, simplifying the production of components and reducing material consumption. Our customers can already try out the first 3D printers in some of our Würth shops in Germany.
