Wintershall Dea ist ein Energieunternehmen mit einer langen Geschichte, dessen letztes Kapitel gerade geschrieben wird. Mit Stand 3. September 2024 wurde die überwiegende Mehrheit der ehemaligen E&P-Vermögenswerte und Kohlenstoffspeicherlizenzen von Wintershall Dea verkauft und an Harbour Energy übertragen. Wintershall Dea konzentriert sich nun auf die Umstrukturierung, Verwaltung und Veräußerung der verbleibenden Vermögenswerte und auf die Umsetzung einer verantwortungsvollen Schließung des Unternehmens. Wintershall Dea ist im Besitz von BASF und LetterOne.

The last chapter of Wintershall Dea is now being written. As of 3 September 2024, the majority of Wintershall Dea's E&P business and carbon storage licences have been transferred to Harbour Energy. Now, our main tasks will be to manage and divest the remaining assets, provide transitional services to Harbour Energy and implement a responsible closure of the business. Transaction successfully completed 🤝 Following approval by the European Commission, Wintershall Dea has sold its WIGA shares to SEFE Securing Energy for Europe GmbH. The Berlin-based company thus becomes the sole shareholder of WIGA. With its high-capacity gas transportation infrastructure, WIGA plays a key role in ensuring Europe’s energy security.
