Picking the Future at #LaborTempelhof What an incredible weekend we had at Labor Tempelhof in Berlin! 🌍 We were thrilled to be part of this unique event, inspired by the Cradle-to-Cradle approach and dedicated to showcasing sustainable practices and circular solutions. Labor Tempelhof is more than just a music festival—it’s a celebration of sustainability and innovation. Organized by Cradle to Cradle NGO (C2C NGO), Loft Concerts GmbH, SBS Eventsupport, and KKT – Kikis Kleiner Tourneeservice, the event brought together 60,000 spectators over three days for concerts by Die Ärzte at Tempelhof Airport. This was the perfect setting to launch our traceless® friespickers on a larger scale, in collaboration with our partner GTB Gastro Team Bremen GmbH, a part of Aramark Deutschland. With over 25 years of experience in event catering, GTB is deeply committed to making the industry more sustainable, and their vision aligns perfectly with ours. We were proud to provide our traceless® friespickers at the gastronomy booths, giving visitors the chance to enjoy their fries with a product that truly leaves no trace. The response was fantastic—we spoke with many concertgoers who were eager to learn more about our natural, plastic-free solution and loved the idea of using an everyday item that’s both innovative and sustainable. Our friespickers weren’t just a practical addition—they were one of the products demonstrating what’s possible when we rethink everyday items to reduce waste and promote a circular economy. It was inspiring to see such enthusiasm from everyone, and we’re grateful to GTB Gastro Team Bremen for helping us bring this vision to life. Labor Tempelhof is going into the next round - and we are thrilled to announce that we’re a part of it again! Together with GTB Gastro Team Bremen GmbH, we can’t wait to launch a series of 1500 traceless® fries pickers at this very special event. What’s #LaborTempelhof? On August 23, 24 and 25, 2024, Cradle to Cradle NGO (C2C NGO), Loft Concerts GmbH, SBS Eventsupport and KKT - Kikis Kleiner Tourneeservice will be staging three concerts by the band Die Ärzte at Tempelhof Airport in Berlin, inspired by the #CradleToCradle approach. The aim of the project is to show how existing #C2C solutions can lead to a circular economy that offers economic, ecological and social added value for society as a whole - and how, derived from this, major events with a positive impact on people and the environment can also become the standard. A wonderful fit to our mission! Together with our cooperation partner GTB Gastro Team Bremen GmbH, part of the parent company Aramark, we teamed up already a while ago to develop fries pickers made from traceless® material. During the first edition of Labor Tempelhof in 2022, we’ve introduced a first prototype of these pickers. Now, we’re excited to return – with even more to offer: For 2024, we’re launching 1500 fries pickers together, available at the fries booths during the concerts! Did you now that Plastics cause 3.4% of global greenhouse gas emissions - more than aviation? At traceless, we're working everyday to help bring the materials industry on track to net-zero.
