From pharmaceuticals to steel sales 📤 Sometimes, we find ourselves working in a completely different industry than we originally expected. For Sebastian Weidenbach, this unexpected turn was even better than he could have imagined. In 2022, the now 28-year-old found exactly what he was looking for at thyssenkrupp Materials Trading: a #traineeposition in sales in an international environment. 🗣 While studying economics, Sebastian already knew that he wanted to work in #internationalsales. However, he initially assumed that his career would take him into the pharmaceutical industry, where he had already gained experience during his studies. 💊 But the trainee position in our beautiful Ruhr area and being part of #GENERATIONTK proved him wrong. Since completing his traineeship, Sebastian has advanced to the role of #JuniorTrader at thyssenkrupp Materials Trading, focusing on the #importbusiness with Spain and Portugal. R – as in Reverse Logistics ↩ We all know that e-commerce sales continue to grow, reaching new heights year after year? This growth means more shipments – and equally more returns. Not only is the product's journey to the customer relevant, but so is the journey back – returns are an inevitable part of the order fulfillment process. 📦 This is where Reverse Logistics comes in: By managing product returns, repairs, and recycling, it has become a critical component of the modern supply chain, increasing customer satisfaction and #sustainability. #thyssenkruppMaterialsServices #ABCofLogistics #supplychain #ecommerce

Despite many innovations and efforts, it is not yet possible for companies today to completely avoid CO2 emissions or reduce them to zero. 🌿 For this reason, many companies rely on emission reduction certificates. But what is important here? Certainly the quality of the certificates, because there are differences between carbon credit projects. With the Carbon Credit Trading Desk our colleagues thyssenkrupp Materials Trading provide credits from carefully selected, top-tier projects verified by recognized #sustainability standards. This ensures that our customers’ investment support genuine and long-lasting #ClimateAction initiatives. 🤝✅ Click here to learn more about it: https://lnkd.in/erz-MBDN
