Review of an exciting participation at Gewerbepark Breisgau Experience Day On Sunday, September 22nd, STACKFORCE had the pleasure of being part of the Erlebnistag at Gewerbepark Breisgau! ☀️ With perfect weather, around 30 enthusiastic participants joined the planned “Schnitzeljagd”. STACKFORCE was the second stop 📍 on their journey, and we were happy to welcome them. Our Managing Director, David Rahusen, and Head of Finance and HR, Sally Rahusen, greeted the guests, provided a brief introduction to STACKFORCE, and offered insights into our #innovative product world. 🌐 After a short presentation (and a boost from some STACKFORCE peanuts 🥜), the group was off to their next stop. The event provided a good opportunity for STACKFORCE to showcase the company as one of the innovative players in the Gewerbepark Breisgau and we even offered a little “how to get there” challenge with our unique location – slightly hidden in a former bunker! 😉 We had a successful day with positive feedback from everyone involve and looking forward to future opportunities to connect with the community! 💡 A Decade of Innovation: STACKFORCE's 10-Year Milestone Reflecting on a decade of #innovation, STACKFORCE's journey began with a small team dedicated to programming tasks. The development of the Wireless M-Bus/OMS® #ProtocolStack started in 2008, even before the official company launch, within the "Steinbeis Transfer Center for Embedded Design and Networking." Back then, our team faced some technical hurdles, often setting up equipment outdoors 🤭. But by 2010, we proudly released the first wM-Bus/OMS® Stack! Fast forward to 2014, STACKFORCE was officially founded, and we embarked on creating the first and only licensable LoRaWAN® Stack. During this pivotal period, we formed strategic partnerships with leading chip manufacturers, paving the way for our future innovations. As active members of the OMS® Group, the LoRa Alliance, and the mioty® alliance, we stay at the forefront of technological progress. This year, we released the first OMS® v5 Stack ✨, immediately following the publication of the OMS® Gen. 5 specification. Today, we offer over 10 different #stacks – based on M-Bus/OMS®, mioty® and LoRaWAN® technology – available in various versions and for different hardware platforms, ensuring a seamless integration experience for our customers. Almost always on board, David Rahusen our current Managing Director Technical, has significantly guided and driven the company's development efforts. Since 2023, he has been leading STACKFORCE together with the support of Konrad Aicher, Managing Director Commercial who focuses on marketing and business growth. #Celebrating 10 Years of STACKFORCE On Thursday, July 4th, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of STACKFORCE together with employees, customers and shareholders at the beautifully located Weingut Schmidt in Heitersheim. It was a day filled with reflections and insights. After being welcomed on the winery terrace, managing directors Konrad Aicher and David Rahusen introduced the guests and provided an overview of the evening. Prof. Dr. Axel Sikora, the company founder, delivered a humorous speech reflecting on STACKFORCE's early days and its development over the past decade and Dr. Mathias Glasmacher from Diehl Venture shared insights into their 2018 investment decision and thanked the founders and employees for their excellent collaboration and commitment. A highlight of the day was the tour through the vineyards. Guided by an expert, we learned about viticulture and the diverse wine varieties produced at Weingut Schmidt. The experience was enriched by a behind-the-scenes look at the wine cellar, complete with a tasting session of various wines. The day concluded with a delightful dinner, where the lively atmosphere and delicious courses ensured everyone left with full stomachs and fond memories. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us and contributed to making this celebration a success. It was a day of shared experiences and conversations that we will cherish for a long time. Thank you to all our employees and customers for your support and collaboration.
