For #Investors and #Media We have announced that the European Medicines Agency and the European Commission have granted an Orphan Drug Designation for #PentixaFor for the diagnosis and staging of Marginal Zone Lymphoma (MZL). PentixaFor is a novel diagnostic tracer for PET imaging targeting the C-X-C receptor 4, which is overexpressed on MZL cells. Preclinical and clinical studies indicate that PentixaFor has a high sensitivity and specificity for the diagnosis and staging of MZL, with potentially better outcomes than the currently used [18F]FDG. Pentixapharm currently sponsors a European Phase III clinical trial to assess the performance of PentixaFor for the imaging and staging in patients with confirmed MZL. This marks a significant milestone in our journey to develop novel targeted radiopharmaceuticals for various malignancies.   🔬 This acquisition encompasses a portfolio of preclinical antibodies against multiple oncology that can be developed into #radiopharmaceuticals. It also includes laboratories and equipment, cell banks, a tumor target database, along with a range of patents, licenses and other tangible assets.   With this transaction we welcome 40 seasoned executives, R&D specialists, and administrators to our growing Pentixapharm team. For #Investors and #Media Today we are pleased to announce that Pentixapharm AG has received encouraging feedback from the FDA to directly proceed into a pivotal Phase III registration study with our radiopharmaceutical diagnostic, Ga68-PentixaFor, in Primary Aldosteronism (PA). This significant milestone paves the way for developing a first-in-class, non-invasive, and accurate alternative to adrenal venous sampling, potentially transforming diagnostic subtyping in PA and improving patient outcomes.
