Recognizing India as one of the fastest-growing markets for the automotive industry, MdynamiX and Automotive test Systems – ATS, India, are delighted to announce a deeper collaboration. Together with ATS we are launching the MdynamiX Indian Centre in Pune, India, in February next year to better serve our Indian customers and showcase our state-of-the-art test systems – MXsteerHiL and MXbrakeHiL, along with our innovative software solutions MXeval and MXoptiCal. We are confident that our test systems and development solutions will thrive in India, supported by ATS’s additional engineering services. These services include steering and brake system testing, calibration, functional tuning, failsafe, and much more. These MX test systems will be show-cased in the MdynamiX Indian Center: • 𝗠𝗫𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗛𝗶𝗟: Our Steering-in-the-Loop solution provides a highly realistic steering experience for vehicle dynamics and automated driving. • 𝗠𝗫𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗛𝗶𝗟: A real-time, robust test bench for braking system development and automated driving, offering compatibility and flexible deployment for a unique braking experience. • 𝗠𝗫𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗹: The benchmark, evaluation and targeting software handles the assessment and analysis, speeding up decision-making in road testing and simulation for feature-based development in vehicle dynamics and automated driving. • 𝗠𝗫𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗖𝗮𝗹: The optical measurement tool guarantees accurate and consistent vehicle measurements with reliable processes in just a few steps. With two decades of expertise from product and test rig development to testing services, along with the establishment of several successful testing labs across India, ATS is an ideal partner for this initiative. 𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲𝘀: 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 ‘𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆’ 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 We joined the 'Feel the Reality' Simulation Forum, that was held at EDAG's new Zero Prototype Lab in Wolfsburg, an exclusive event dedicated to the prospective future of mobility without the necessity for physical prototypes and it was great to be a part of it! The event convened experts from a variety of fields, with a shared interest in investigating the potential of simulation as a transformative tool in automotive development. The scope of discussion encompassed a diverse range of areas, from tire and steering systems to advanced vehicle dynamics. Among the keynote speakers were Prof. Dr. Peter Pfeffer, CEO of MdynamiX, who provided insights into simulator-based vehicle dynamics, as well as Jonas Grötzinger, Senior Expert Vehicle Motion at EDAG, and Helmut Schmitz, Director Sales DACH & Benelux at VI-grade. We were pleased to receive valuable input from Dino Berki of Business Development & Sales at cosin scientific software AG, and Francesco Calabrese, Research Scientist - Tire Modeling and Simulation at the Fraunhofer-Institute für Techno- und Wirtschaftsmathematik (ITWM). They enriched the discussion on simulation technologies by providing essential tire models and sharing their expertise through presentations. Their expertise gave attendees a hands-on look at the cutting-edge developments shaping tomorrow's mobility solutions, coupled with live demonstrations on VI-grade simulators and MdynamiX test benches. Prof. Peter Pfeffer met with 𝗭𝗵𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗼 𝗪𝘂, Marketing Director of our esteemed Chinese partner Polelink Information, and 𝗫𝘂 𝗪𝘂, Vice President of Beijing Oriental Jicheng Co Ltd, the parent company of Polelink. This evening event was part of the ‘Delegation Trip to China’ from October 21 to 26, 2024, led by the Bavarian Minister of State Hubert Aiwanger of the Bayerisches Staatsministerium für Wirtschaft, Landesentwicklung und Energie. The focus of this trip was ‘Bavarian Business in China: Addressing Bavarian Interests, Exploring Opportunities in Future Mobility’. It provided an excellent platform to discuss future cooperation and the immense importance of the Chinese market. Our relationship with our Chinese partner is crucial to us. 🚗 MdynamiX Teams Up with auto motor und sport for Car Comparison Tests! 🚗 Over four super productive days, #MdynamiX and the IFM - Institut für Fahrerassistenz und vernetzte Mobilität had the fantastic opportunity to support the auto motor und sport team in their latest car comparison project. We dove deep into evaluating four cars: the Volvo EX30, Mercedes E-Class, Nio ET5, and Tesla Model Y Performance. Three electric, one gas-powered. Our #ADAS team worked hand-in-hand with Auto Motor und Sport’s expert journalists and testers to make sure the comparison was thorough and insightful. 𝗦𝗼, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼? Using our scientifically developed methods, we equipped the cars with high-quality measurement technology to capture accurate data for 𝗼𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and later analysis with our MXeval software. The four test drivers collected the data on selected routes and at the same time gathered their experience with the systems. The MXevalApp questionnaires guided them through the 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 process, collecting individual ratings for each system. This dual approach gave us a holistic view of each vehicle’s performance, always keeping the 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 front and center. The aim was to provide an in-depth analysis of each car's latest driver assistance systems, from Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) to Lane Keeping Assistance (LKAS) as well as the Park Maneuver Assistant (PMA), and then compare them from a user's perspective.
