Holger's career path at MAHLE: 🎓 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Master of Business Administration (post-graduate program). 🔧 Joined MAHLE with the preparation of his diploma thesis and assumed the role of simulation engineer for engine cooling pre-development. 🌍 Assignment abroad in India in the technical management of the CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation team, training of local engineers, standardization, and process optimization at the Pune location. 🔄 After returning to Germany, he became a project manager in the field of fuel cell systems and electric drives. 👨🏽💼 Head of System Development, responsible for the "System Competence", "Simulation" and "Design & Cost Calculation" teams. 🚀 Current position: Head of Series Development in the area of traction motors within the Electronics and Mechatronics business unit, with teams in Kornwestheim and Slovenia. „The internal and external seminars and practical applications have created a solid professional basis for my transition from mechanical engineering to the mechatronic world of e-mobility.     The Emsland-based INTIS Integrated Infrastructure Solutions GmbH, specialist for customized wireless charging solutions and MAHLE, global automotive supplier and specialist for wireless charging of vehicles, plan to accelerate the market for wireless charging systems as part of a cooperation. INTIS has participated in the funded project #MILAS and delivered a wireless charging customer system for autonomous driving in public spaces with an integrated MAHLE positioning system. The connection between autonomous driving and wireless charging is made possible by the Differential Inductive Positioning System (DIPS) from MAHLE. “DIPS supports parking via roadside wireless charging coils and ensures that autonomously driving vehicles—as in the MILAS project—are automatically aligned in the right place,” says Dr. Ralf Effenberger, CEO of INTIS. “DIPS was recently awarded by the SAE as the global standard for positioning in wireless charging. We are very pleased that INTIS has applied the procedure directly.
