We just received this beautifully crafted scale model of the telescopic loader we designed, highlighting our collaborative efforts with our amazing client. It's a true work of art that perfectly captures the innovative features of the loader. It's always one of the coolest things to have a scale model of your work, it somehow is the cherry on top after a successful project.  Especially if the model is so nicely and true to detail manufactured in solid quality. We see this model is a testament to the dedication and hard work that went into designing a top-of-the-line product, made possible through our partnership with SANY Europe GmbH Designing the telescopic loader was a challenging yet rewarding process, made even more successful through the valuable input and collaboration with our client. The comfort cabin of the HANSA APZ is thoughtfully designed to prioritize user experience. Equipped with a 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻, it offers a wide and unobstructed view as well as a specious feeling. 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 from both sides and a fully adjustable steering column enhance accessibility and ease of use. We have taken a 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 to design, incorporating many usability features that enhance convenience and comfort. When it comes to ergonomics, the HANSA APZ shines. The multifunction armrest, attached to the seat, ensures optimal ergonomics and supports a 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲. The control panel is intelligently structured, providing an ergonomic layout and easy-to-grip operating instruments. Our focus on simplicity and ease of use means there are 𝗻𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝘀, offering the highest level of handling comfort to the user. 👁️🗨️ What usually captures your attention when encountering award-winning designs 🏆 are the visually stunning images of the final product and the sleek press sketches. It's no surprise why they are so captivating. But while these images are impressive, they only scratch the surface of the true design process. The real work goes much deeper. That's why I want to share some behind-the-scenes insights. Award-winning designs are not just about aesthetics; they are the result of extensive research, innovative thinking, and thorough testing to meet specific objectives. One example is improving operator visibility, which is just one of the many requirements addressed during the development of the next generation HANSA APZ. These considerations must be taken into account from the very beginning, as starting with visually appealing design sketches that do not align with the goals would be counterproductive. This could lead stakeholders in the wrong direction. Therefore, we evaluate early in the process if our proposals have the potential to enhance the improvements specified in the design brief. For example, we compare visibility using a simple orthogonal overlay to see if it will be more or less obstructed compared to the benchmark, which in our case is the already impressive predecessor. This initial evaluation is a rough estimate to determine if it is worth progressing with the design. Subsequent steps involve a more detailed analysis using rough CAD, VR, and mock-ups to ensure feasibility alignment. It is essential to recognize that even small improvements in measurements can have a significant impact on the perceived experience. Fulfilling measurable objectives is just as crucial as soft factors like overall appeal and brand consistency. I'll share some more of that with my next posts. Stay tuned. ....
