How can the success of drone operations in the City and the Port of Hamburg be scaled to entire cities, becoming even more efficient by filling data lakes, using AI-based data analytics, and creating an industrial metaverse? That’s what our Managing Director, Matthias Gronstedt, will be discussing at this year’s Aerial Cities conference. Matthias will speak alongside Marcus Ihle, Department Operations Offshore Wind, O&M Innovation & Conception at EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG, Connor Lyons, Innovation Lead at Associated British Ports, Mathias Vinter, Head of Drone Excellence at DSV - Global Transport and Logistics, and Richard Boden, Director at Murzilli Consulting. The panelists will share insights on how drones have been effectively used in ports and maritime environments for inspections, monitoring, and logistics and discuss how these concepts could now transform urban operations. Check out the full program of this executive-only event and join the conference in London. Will we see you there? #AerialCities #Drones #Operations #Automation

Gremsy and HHLA Sky are thrilled to announce their strategic partnership to revolutionize industrial #inspections using #drones. The collaboration integrates Gremsy's state-of-the-art Pixy LR S-Port #gimbals with HHLA Sky's outstanding Integrated Control Center (ICC) and Sony's industrialized ILX-#LR1 cameras on HHLA Sky’s multi-purpose X11 drones. This combination enables high-precision, long-distance inspections of large structures, such as container gantry cranes at the Port of Hamburg. HHLA Sky's ICC enables simultaneous remote (BVLOS) control of more than 100 drone operations, streamlining the inspection process. The system incorporates AI-based data pre-processing for much quicker expert evaluation. Sony's 61 MP full-frame sensor in the ILX-LR1 camera provides exceptional image quality, while the ICC offers full remote control of camera and gimbal functions, including precisely repeatable inspection flights at any time. This partnership aims to significantly enhance efficiency and accuracy in industrial inspections by #automation. Want to learn more? Contact us today. 12.2 million tons of CO2 saved, 85% faster medical deliveries, 96% less water used: According to an #ESG report by Strategy&, part of the PwC Network, Unmanned Aerial Systems (#UAS) could unleash a significant impact on achieving global Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) goals across multiple sectors. The ESG report identifies at least 50 use cases for UAS that could contribute to these objectives. Key findings include: ✳️ Logistics: UAS can reduce CO2 emissions in the transportation sector by 12 million tons annually by 2045—through the replacement of traditional modes in Business-to-Consumer (B2C) logistics. ✳️ Healthcare: Drone delivery can enhance the reliability of medication supplies and cut down delivery times for critical medical supplies by up to 85%, eliminating stock-outs and ensuring timely access to lifesaving supplies, particularly in regions such as rural Africa. ✳️ Agriculture: UAS applications are a major lever for improving global access to clean water, by lowering water usage by up to 96%. The impact also includes CO2 emissions by up to 99%, while improving efficiency and lowering pesticide use by 10%. The report stresses that clearly communicating these benefits is crucial for improving public perception and driving adoption. Concrete data and reports like PwC’s are pivotal in helping to also increase this acceptance among users, investors and other stakeholders. At HHLA Sky, a company focused on automating drone operations in a scalable way, we recognize the vital role of UAS in addressing global challenges. With our experience in deploying our Integrated Control Center in critical infrastructure, such as the Port of Hamburg, as well as the successes from progressive companies and authorities that are using our solutions, we witness the potential and benefits firsthand. In fact, we welcome this report outlining these benefits. Thanks for this study, Dr. Jan H. #SituationalAwareness in complex airspaces is essential. For operators overseeing Beyond Visual Line of Sight (#BVLOS) flights, understanding real-time risks directly impacts both safety and efficiency. HHLA Sky addresses this responsibility. Our Integrated Control Center, the ICC, unifies data streams, from drones, sensors, and external sources into one centralized platform, evaluates the data in context and visualizes it clearly: ✅ To enable better and faster decision making. From monitoring weather conditions to integrating various traffic data as well as ground sensors, the ICC provides unparalleled visibility. This level of #integration ensures operators can make well-informed, confident decisions at every stage—whether scheduling, launching or managing ongoing operations. We at HHLA Sky believe, the future of safe and confident #DroneOperations lies in seamless integration, situational awareness, and trusted technology.
