🤝🌱 GETEC Group and Sonar Real Estate are collaborating to transform the iconic Prisma building in Frankfurt with cutting-edge, sustainable heating and cooling solutions. The Prisma building will soon feature air-to-water heat pumps, photovoltaic systems, usage of excess heat from the atrium and double facade, e-mobility offerings – all connected through intelligent control systems. 🎉 GETEC and SMS group have been nominated for dena’s Energy Efficiency Award 2024! 🎉 We are honored to be recognized by Deutsche Energie-Agentur GmbH (dena) in the category "Achieving More Together! – Energy Services as Enablers of the Energy Transition" for our innovative Power-to-Heat concept for SMS group #Hilchenbach site. 🔋 Our fully electric energy solution features a unique combination of a large-scale heat pump cascade and an electric boiler, including Germany's largest air-water heat pump system with a rated output of 4.3 MW. 🏭 With this project, SMS group completely eliminates the use of fossil fuels, transitioning the site's process heat generation to greenhouse gas neutrality. 🌍 This project is a significant step towards advancing the energy transition, showcasing how industrial transformation can reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
