The main focus was on a general exchange about our HSE strategy and targets. This exchange and networking is extremely important to foster best practise. The participants addressed specific health topics and discussed safety strategies and the further development of Safety Culture 2.0. Environmental and sustainability topics were also on the agenda. Overall, the meeting provided a framework for intensifying and strengthening existing networks between the divisions as well as for enhancing collaboration and knowledge sharing. So, all participants expressed their satisfaction with the results. 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗵𝗮𝗺, 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮 Our site in Durham, North Carolina, had the esteemed pleasure of hosting two honored guests: the Freudenberg Group CEO, Dr. Mohsen Sohi, and newly elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Board of Partners at Freudenberg, Mathias Thielen. Their visit included an introduction to Durham’s CF&S business and a chance to meet the senior leadership team and key Durham stakeholders. Led by Durham’s SEO, Dyer Bennett, they embarked on a detailed plant tour of the Spunbond operations, exploring each production aisle and the quality assurance department, where they learned about Durham’s innovative use of AI. Later, some exciting projects were also presented. Highlights included Asheville’s integration into Freudenberg Performance Materials, Spunbond Technology Upgrades, the North American Internship & Rotational Program, and new business developments. Finally, there was a group lunch with some young, up-and-coming talent from Durham and Asheville, where everyone enjoyed a delicious meal from a regional favorite “Chick-Fil-A”, personally requested by Dr. Sohi.
