🔙 On Monday (Nov 4th), the DIG-UM Topic Group "Federated Infrastructure" held a coordination meeting at the INC Invention Center in Aachen. The ErUM-Data-Hub, which supported the organization alongside Topic Group chairs Dr. Kilian Schwarz and Prof. Dr. Mathias Hoeft, was also represented on-site. The workshop aimed to bring together scientists interested in submitting a proposal in the field of "Federated Infrastructures," those already involved in such projects, and others eager to participate. The event especially welcomed consortia that were either already formed or in the process of establishing themselves, offering them a platform to coordinate their proposals. About 14 participants traveled to Aachen to exchange ideas in a welcoming, informal setting, while around 20 more joined virtually via Zoom. From October 19th to 20th, our team leader Angela Warkentin traveled to Krakow to participate in the pre-workshop of the #CHEP2024 conference. With a talk on 'Advancing Digital Transformation in Germany by Training #ErUM Scientists,' she presented the work of the ErUM-Data-Hub to an international (#HEP) audience. We would like to thank Alexander Moreno Briceño, Jim Pivarski and Valeriia Lukashenko for the organisation of this worksop! 👏 We really enjoyed all the interesting talks, intense working sessions and fruitful discussions. Establishing new contacts was truly an enrichment for us and our work. 😊
