Ever since our founding by the brothers Clemens and August in 1841, C&A has been at the forefront of fashion. From making 'ready-to-wear' a thing when custom-made was the norm, to popularising miniskirts in the 60s, introducing the Com-bi-kini in the 70s, Bio Cotton in early 2000 and the first Cradle-to-Cradle Gold certified garment (www.c-a.com/c2c) in 2017 - we have always evolved with the times, making stylish and quality clothes possible for everyone.     🎬 C&A on TV: C&A’s store concept and collection was tested to its core for the German television show “Sat.1. Check” broadcasted at prime time last night. And we are excited about the great feedback on product quality, value for money and shopping experience!   🕵️In the recent edition of the brand check three fashion retailers’ store concepts came to the test. On top, the “Sat.1 Check” team commissioned a product quality (TÜV) test for jeans and t-shirts. For the show, every detail in our store in Hamburg Mönckebergstraße was reviewed by test shoppers.   👍 Their positive feedback confirms the success of the measures C&A has been implementing to create the best customer experience - with an inspiring presentation of the collection, a bright and modern look, optimized store guiding systems, self-checkout options and lounge areas. The quality test of our products once again proved our promise for high quality products at a good price. “This show was also a great learning experience to see every single detail of our store through our customer’s eyes. This can help to create an even better customer experience”, adds our Chief Commercial Officer Carsten Horn.   👖 For everyone who hasn’t seen C&A’s own FIT factory in Germany, this show also has special insights into the production of our Premium Denim. With FIT, we further commit to setting new industry standards while offering high-quality, modern, and affordable clothing.     Stronger together: As a fashion retailer for the many we get to connect with millions of consumers across Europe in their everyday. And we want to use our reach to help raise awareness for cancer prevention and early detection. Thus, we didn’t need to think twice when we were asked to join the “ON against cancer” campaign by the KWF Dutch Cancer Society. It aims to create buzz for cancer prevention, early detection, more targeted treatments, and a better quality of life for people with cancer. Therefore, our C&A co-workers in Amsterdam joined forces to support the campaign with a video. Our Corporate Communications expert Sara Thys explains: “As a fashion retailer for the entire family that is also so present in many cities, we can help raise awareness and do good together. The group of co-workers that you see in the video - who are working in different Amsterdam stores - have a very close connection with each other. They have been working together for many years. And creating this video became a real personal project for us. You could really feel the team spirit and togetherness between everyone on set.
