🌈 Have you ever experienced a safer space to celebrate diversity and vulnerability? Well, I just did. This past Saturday I attended one of the most enriching events I have ever been part of, “The Journey of Courage” Summit organized by Brave Spaces 2.0. This was a #saferspace co-created by and for #BIWOC / #TINBIPOC entrepreneurs. #Purpose driven entrepreneurship is not only about #business. It is about a deep calling for #selfexpression and #connection with others. It is also about sharing your #talents to bring about change. It is hard to find a few words to describe all what happened during this special day at the Summit. Here is my attempt to express what I believe needs to be shared: 💪 Resilience and Transformation These are strong words yet necessary to describe the journey of #courage, especially for people that have been #discriminated against through #generations. In the entrepreneurial journey, we need to be willing to go against the #current and be able to rise above challenges that feel like #threats to our #identities. We need to be #bold and #dare to believe in our vision to #break the ceiling, walls, and buildings placed in front of us. 📖 Storytelling and Identity Each one of us carries a #story with a unique experience. It is in our #power to share that story and claim our #identity as we feel it to make justice to who we truly are. As long as we are alive our stories keep #evolving and we as individuals too. Comparing ourselves to others to define our #value is a useless mechanism as we are #uniquebeings. No one has walked the exact same path we each have. We can only share our stories to relate, to connect, and #support each other. 🌱 Agency and Future Can we imagine a future that represents our #authenticdreams? Daring to dream is a form of #activism. Deciding to set the #rules of our lives and taking #ownership of our future is #revolutionary. We can exert our agency to pave the way for future #generations, one decision at a time, one #dream at a time. 💕  Love and Trust #Love ourselves first to build connection with others. As we learn, #deconstruct, and #reimagine our stories, we increase our #selfknowledge and decide how do we want to be present in the world. By raising #awareness of our own #perspectives, we can expand our worldview with new ones. As we strengthen our #selflove, we allow for bigger #trust in ourselves and the connections we choose to nourish. Overall, I was left feeling fulfilled, seen and hopeful for the #powerofcommunity to bring about change from both an #individual and the #collective level.
