𝐀 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲. 🎉 Our summer party at BRAINEFFECT took place last week. To start, our brainies chose between a yoga or HIIT session. Afterwards, we went to the location together, where we were surprised with a cocktail and cooking class. High5 to our great Office Manager John, who made it all happen.💓 Our 4-day summer couldn't have started any better. As of this month, we have a 4-day week for two months (with the same salary) and are supposed to use the extra day to recharge. #teambraineffect

𝐇𝐨𝐰 3 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 3 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬. 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 3𝐫𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐲𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟, 𝐈 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐬 🥂 Last week marked my three-year anniversary at BRAINEFFECT, and honestly, time has flown by. Back in 2021, I started as a marketing analyst intern, thinking I'd be around for just three months. Fast forward to now, and I'm leading our Business Intelligence with my own little team. In these three years, I've been lucky enough to lead some exciting projects, from managing our Advent Calendar to rebuilding our analytical infrastructure. Plus, there've been some interesting team events—like surfing on an artificial wave 🌊 Reflecting on this journey, I've learned a few things - 3 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦: 1️⃣ 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐊𝐞𝐲: There are always ups and downs in your professional life, however, honesty and open communication always pay off. Being transparent, especially during tough times, builds trust and paves the way for growth. 2️⃣ 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬: A supportive work environment makes all the difference. Finding a company that values your well-being and fosters growth is invaluable. 3️⃣ 𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐧: It may feel scary to step out of your comfort zone, but that's exactly where learning takes place. Take on new challenges, because they usually lead to you being given responsibility and growing as a result. So, what’s next? From 0.3 (yes, I know it's actually 0.25) to 3 to 30 years? It was an experiment in blending ancient wisdom with modern start-up culture. To be honest, a year ago, I would have probably said that this is "too much" for a work environment. But now, I felt the impulse to give it a try and it was the right thing to do! 😎 For almost everyone, it was the first time to be part of a cacao ceremony and it was a new experience where they got to learn something about themselves and about the others and enjoy a cosy evening together 💫 In a business world driven by KPIs and deadlines, it's easy to forget that we are not just employees; we are humans with emotions, fears and dreams 🌈💜. I'm grateful to work for a company that encourages this openness and connection. It was a reminder to slow down for a moment, breathe and remember the richness of the human experience ✨ This experience has left me inspired. I want to create more spaces where authenticity and connection thrive.
