We partnered up with our old friend Christopher, in charge of the digital experience for this project, to support their hybrid show, and it was incredible seeing live theater mesh with the virtual world. From 3D avatars mingling in the virtual lobby to a seamless interactive Q&A with both live and digital audiences, this was next-level. What really struck me was how this partnership challenged us at Meadow to take our accessibility game even further. We've been working on making sure everyone can fully experience our platform, and this project pushed us to think bigger. Here is a quick video tour of a new 3D scan we added to Meadow. It’s a great example of what we can do with #3DGaussianSplatting. No fancy equipment needed, just a phone! In the video, I walk Fabio Buccheri through the process of scanning a spot in Hamburg and share some cool tips, like adding virtual elements that weren’t actually there. This method could really change how we approach event pre-visualization and virtual environments. Just wanted to drop in and share this quick tour of a new 3D scan we’ve integrated into Meadow. I met our creative wizard Jörg on #Meadow to give me a quick tour through this example, and I’m pretty excited about how it turned out. We’re exploring some cool new tech - #3DGaussianSplatting - and in this video, we walk you through how we scanned a real spot in #Hamburg with just a phone (yep, nothing fancy). Jörg’s got all the details on how we made it work, including some neat tricks like adding virtual shadows and cars that weren’t even there IRL. This could totally change the game for pre-visualizing event setups or just getting creative with virtual environments.
