Supporting #YoungTalents is on top of our list at Bilfinger. 🚀 Why? By investing in future talent, we are actively contributing to a more sustainable world. 🌱🌏 A current example is a collaboration of Bilfinger België & Nederland with Gasunie, Hogeschool Rotterdam and Hanzehogeschool Groningen: #CO2Operation2024. We invited around 200 students to jointly develop #innovative solutions for a more #sustainable future. 💬💡 The students from Groningen and Rotterdam learned from our colleagues how a ‘stop’ (a planned maintenance period during which a production site is temporarily shut down) works. They were encouraged to actively think about ways to reduce CO2 during these maintenance stops – before applying this knowledge in practice and working on real projects for Gasunie and Bilfinger. On December 6, everyone came back together in Groningen to present their ideas. ✨We were excited to see and hear their inspiring ideas and concrete steps to make #maintenance stops climate-neutral. 💚

Exciting News from the World of #MagneticFields! 📢 For the first time in Europe, a continuous magnetic field of 42 Tesla has been generated! This significant achievement took place at the Laboratoire National des Champs Magnétiques Intenses (CNRS) in Grenoble, France. Congratulations to #LNCMI! Bilfinger's expertise in the #nuclear market has played a crucial role in this success by manufacturing the superconducting coil. 🌀 The hybrid magnet paves the way for research in #nuclearfusion, magnetic resonance imaging, energy materials, and quantum technologies. The hybrid magnet, optimized to reduce its #CarbonFootprint, combines a superconducting part with a resistive part, showcasing our commitment to #sustainable innovation. 🌱⚡ Let's celebrate this incredible teamwork and #innovation! 🎉 🔗Find out more about this milestone : https://buff.ly/3BkbPwB 🔗 Discover more about Bilfinger's expertise in nuclear energy: https://buff.ly/3ZiZ7pM #TeamBilfinger #LNCMI #CNRS 📸 © P. Lean@Bilfinger: 6th Lean Expert training wave premiers in Herne, Germany 🚩 As part of a broader 16-week Lean Expert training, colleagues from our different regions around the globe successfully completed the third and final program module. For the first time in six training waves, our Bilfinger site in Herne, Germany, welcomed our aspiring #LeanExperts, providing the perfect atmosphere to learn and practice together. 🎓 On their training journey, our soon-to-be Lean Experts pass through several Bilfinger sites and complete various modules, teaching them the methods and measures to make processes along the whole value chain more #efficient. 🔄 An important part of the Lean Concept is developing a “control and sustain plan” to ensure that the achieved process improvements are efficient and maintained. 💪 So – what’s next? All our prospective Lean Experts will prepare for their final presentation to their colleagues and the management in December. We wish everyone good luck! 🍀 Bilfinger Region DACH 📸 In the first group photo from left to right: Martin Rehmet; Jan Petter Hestvik; Rafał Brzozowski; Jesper van der Molen; Rafał Marczewski; Colin Thomson; Nora Thysse Westad; Alexander Wendt; Per Persson; Dr. Thomas Froitzheim; Kai Grothuesmann; Hari K; Uwe Pagel; Axel Lenz; Tom Köhn; Mark Stastny; Patrick Lehmann; Peter Winkler; Halil Dinger; Alexandru Lazaroiu; Dietmar Weirauch; Roman Racky.

Lean@Bilfinger: Looking back to when the 6th Lean Expert training wave stopped off in Poland 🚩 As #efficiency plays a key role in our group strategy at Bilfinger, we regularly train colleagues from our different regions worldwide to become #LeanExperts. 🎓 During their comprehensive 16-week training, they pass through several Bilfinger sites and complete various modules, teaching them the methods and measures to make company processes along the whole value chain more #efficient. Our 13 soon-to-be Lean Experts recently visited our Bilfinger site in Krapkowice, Poland. The agenda for the second module included moderation techniques and train-the-trainer concepts – to provide our Lean Experts with the ability to later pass on their knowledge onto their colleagues. 💡🗨 With Jaromir Kriz, President E&M Eastern Europe, and Michał Lewicki, Vice President ISP at Bilfinger E&M Eastern Europe, joining the group, the training offered the ideal opportunity for a cross-regional exchange on the importance of #lean processes within our company. 📷 In our group photo from left to right: Jaromír Kříž, Michal Slusarski, Rafał Marczewski, Piotr Golenia, Rafał Brzozowski, Patrick Lehmann, Alexandru Lazaroiu, Colin Thomson, Nora Thysse Westad, Jan Petter Hestvik, Peter Winkler, Martin Rehmet, Tom Köhn, Halil Dinger, Alexander Wendt, Jesper van der Molen, Hari Krishnan, Per Persson, Michał Lewicki. 📍 MULTISERWIS
