🥤 air up®, c’est à l’origine un projet né d’un mémoire de fin d’études sur les neurosciences dans le design. Lena Jüngst et Tim Jäger, les fondateurs, se sont penchés sur l’idée de concevoir une façon ludique de s’hydrater pour faire face aux problèmes de santé de notre époque comme l'obésité, le diabète et les maladies cardiaques. Ils l’ont imaginée à travers une gourde utilisant la rétro-olfaction. Le principe ? Le récipient est équipé d’une paille autour de laquelle une capsule [nommée pod] avec une senteur spécifique est disposée, donnant ainsi l’impression au consommateur de boire une autre boisson que l’eau qu'il contient. La marque propose un large panel de saveurs comme cola, pastèque, orange-chocolat, et même virgin mojito. 👃 💬 Progressivement, la start-up munichoise accélère son développement et ouvre son site internet à d’autres pays, dont la France en 2020. «Nous abordons des thématiques qui sont internationales comme la lutte contre l’obésité et le diabète, en proposant une consommation plus saine d’hydratation. En Allemagne, on utilise Air Up pour éviter de s'hydrater par des boissons sucrées ou sodas, alors qu’en France la première problématique est simplement d’augmenter son niveau d’hydratation en buvant davantage d'eau», explique Margod de Montfort, country manager France. 💻 Pour atteindre sa cible en France, marché faisant partie du top 5 pour la marque, Air Up mise sur une stratégie marketing en faisant appel à des créateurs(-trices) de contenus sur toutes les plateformes, dont en particulier YouTube. Squeezie, McFly & Carlito ou encore Djilsi, créateurs à plus d’un million d’abonnés, ont collaboré au moins une fois avec Air Up.
