This accolade, awarded during the “First General Surgery Short Video Collection and Exhibition,” highlights our innovative strength in advancing medical knowledge communication. 🎥Our team collaborated with colleagues, submitting four videos, including a creative Dragon Boat Festival-themed video where surgeons demonstrated laparoscopic techniques on a rice dumpling. This humorous yet informative video showcased our advanced products and professional training services. 🚀This recognition has strengthened our ties with prestigious institutions and elevated our brand image. 🙏We are grateful to all who contributed and look forward to future collaborations, continuing to harness video media for professional knowledge sharing and corporate branding.  

🌟 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐩 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 🌟 We recently concluded our Regional Aesculap Academy Europe meeting, and it was an incredible experience! Bringing together our dedicated colleagues from across Europe, this event highlighted the immense value of in-person exchange. 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈𝐧-𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬: 1. 𝐅𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Face-to-face interactions spark spontaneous conversations and networking opportunities, leading to innovative ideas and partnerships that might not emerge in virtual settings. 2. 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬: Personal connections are the cornerstone of trust. Meeting colleagues in person helps to build stronger, more meaningful relationships, crucial for effective teamwork and long-term professional growth. 3. 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: The energy at in-person events is incredibly inspiring. Hearing from leading experts, witnessing groundbreaking presentations, and being part of a vibrant community can reignite passion and motivation in one’s professional journey. As we reflect on the success of this workshop, we are reminded of the irreplaceable value of in-person exchange. While digital platforms have their place and have kept us connected in challenging times, the connections and experiences we gain from face-to-face interactions are unparalleled. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making this event a memorable and impactful experience. Intensive Neuroendoscopy training days in Tuttlingen! 👨⚕️ 👩⚕️   We were happy to welcome participants from all over the world to our Intracranial Neuroendoscopy Course at the Aesculap Academy in Tuttlingen from October 24th – 26th, 2024. Trained by our experienced faculty team on-site, Simon Cudlip, Radim Lipina, Eric Suero Molina and Petr Vacek, the participants got both, theoretical insights about the safe usage of B. Braun products in the lectures and practical tips and tricks in the cadaver lab with the chance to share expertise and learn from each other. Other highlights were the transmission of live surgeries from the University Hospital in Ostrava, where Tomas Krejci and Petr Matousek operated.  During the three days course we covered Intraventricular  Neuroendoscopy  on the first day, Transnasal Neuroendoscopy on second day and on the last day Endoscope-Assisted Microsurgery in combination with our Digital Surgical Microscope and continuing with Transorbital approach. Here we were pleased to get detailed explanations from our additional faculty member and ENT surgeon Darlene L. in a virtual expert lecture and practiced this approach later in the lab.  A big thank you to our excellent faculty team who made this great course possible and of course also to all our participants for their high interest and active participation. 😍 ✈️ Finnish course in Germany ✨ The Advanced Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery course is a comprehensive and hands-on course designed for surgical residents. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the start of the course in 2014 by the Finnish Aesculap Academy. The course provides invaluable practical experience and insights into advanced laparoscopic techniques, enhancing the surgical skills of all participants. ✨ Fourteen Finnish residents from university and central hospitals together with the course directors Doc. Jyrki Kössi, Dr. Sakari Pakarinen and Dr. Timo Tomminen spent three fruitful days full of lectures and workshops learning and sharing medical knowledge in the spirit of CONNECT. EXCHANGE. ENABLE. 🙏 A big thank you to all the participants, course directors and our Aesculap Academy & B. Braun colleagues for making this course once again successful. 📅 Next year’s course will be held again in Berlin on October 7-9, 2025. ❤️ We love the Italian Spirit at our Headquarters 💚 From 21-23 October, our Italian colleagues held their annual laparoscopy course in Tuttlingen (Germany). We were delighted to welcome more than 30 participants and 18 tutors and the B. Braun team from Italy for three days of enlightening lectures and a lot of practical exercises! 🌟 Exciting Day at the The Royal College of Surgeons of England! 🌟 We had the privilege of meeting with RCS President Tim Mitchell and Head of Quality Assurance Salim Nazir to discuss the future of surgical education and the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration. It was an inspiring meeting, and we are grateful to the Royal College of Surgeons for hosting us! We are proud and honored to have received global accreditation from the RCS last year for the time period of 2023-2026 and to have successfully passed the reaccreditation this year.
