This was one of the best business delegation trips (Leistungsschau) that VDMA Textile Machinery was able to co-organise and accompany together with AHK Vietnam - Delegation of the German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (thank you to the team from Le Thi Hai Duong) and SBS systems for business solutions GmbH. Very good and interesting presentations, good B2B discussions, great organisation and a good atmosphere. What is the bottom line? Together we have all shown that it is not just about selling technology. It's about advice/consulting, quality, efficiency, #sustainability (!), maintenance, #automation, smart production, service, training and many other important factors that our members believe lay the foundation for a long-term, trusting and mutually successful partnership. I would like to mention the symposium at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology as a highlight. We all know that training and further education for young professionals is the/our future. Since our last event in 2016, a number of students have been placed with members, agencies or textile manufacturers. This really moved me and I am already looking forward to our next event of this kind.
