Funeral details have been released for Philadelphia Police Officer Jaime Roman who died months after he was shot in the line of duty. The 31-year-old officer was two weeks away from his seventh anniversary with PPD when he died, Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel said. He served in the 24th and 25th districts. He is survived by his wife and three children. Officer Jaime Roman had been in a coma at Temple University Hospital following a shooting on July 22, 2024. Teen Girl Stuck Farm Equipment Airlifted: PA State Police (

An 18-year-old farm worker was airlifted on Monday, Sept. 16 after getting stuck in a corn binder machine, authorities said. The girl was injured on the 300 block of Wilson Mill Road in Lower Oxford, according to Pennsylvania State Police. She was in stable condition after getting stuck at about 11 a.m., Corporal Travis Hill of the Avondale Station said. Hill did not know what part of her got stuck in the machine. A fatal crash closed Interstate 76/ PA Turnpike for over five hours on Saturday, Sept. 14 officials confirmed to Daily Voice the following Monday. The deadly three-vehicle crash happened at mile marker 268.4 in Penn Township, Lancaster County around 11:30 a.m., officials detailed.
