PA Dad Kills Son's Mother, Her Mother In NJ Home Invasion (Update)
A Pennsylvania man has been charged with murder of the mother of his child and her mother in their New Jersey home this week, authorities said.
Junior Edward, of Lansdowne (Delaware County), PA, smashed a first-floor window of the home on Harrington Circle in Willingboro, and shot Catherine Nunez, 33, with whom he shares an 8-year-old son, and her mother, Marisol Nunez, 54, around 4 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw and Willingboro Township Acting Public Safety Director Captain Ian Bucs said.

Brief Cold Front Coming, Warm Weather Sticking Around In NJ, PA: Forecasters
A cold front will end the summer-like warmth in the Northeast — for now, forecasters say.
"For the next seven to 10 days at least, warm days will outnumber chilly ones, relative to the historical average," AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Brett Anderson said. "This means that when all the days are tallied up, temperatures will be several degrees above that historical average, which is slowly trending downward during November."

South Jersey Ex-Con Sentenced For Selling Heroin, Cocaine: Feds
A Deptford man will spend several years in prison for selling heroin and cocaine, authorities said.
Javier Osorio, 44, was sentenced on Tuesday, Oct. 29 to six years in prison, New Jersey's U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger said in a news release.
According to court documents and statements, Osorio planned to sell cocaine and more than a kilogram of heroin. The drugs were found in his apartment.

A 45-year-old Morris County man has been arrested and charged after posting an online death threat at a political commentator, authorities said.
Last month, Haim Braverman, of Morris Plains, posted a video of himself on a social media platform in which he made various threats to a political commentator who had publicly commented on a prominent, now-deceased rabbi, US Attorney Philip Sellinger said.

NJ's Teri Garr From 'Young Frankenstein' Dead At 79
Teri Garr, the New Jersey actress who many knew from "Young Frankenstein," died on Tuesday, Oct. 29. She was 79 years old.
According to the New York Times, Garr's publicist, Heidi Schaeffer, said the cause was complications of multiple sclerosis.
