It's already been two months since Sokratis has taken on new responsibilities as Process Engineer at ecorbio! Time flies when you're building cleantech and having fun! With his expertise in design process engineering, chemical process optimization and industrial operations, Sokratis brings valuable improvements to our projects. His hands-on experience in evaluating and enhancing processes will help us drive operational efficiency and safety, while his leadership will guide initial production towards success. We’re thrilled to have Sokratis in this pivotal role and look forward to achieving amazing results together!

We're thrilled to share that ecorbio is joining the First Cohort of the pan-European scaling program D2XCEL. Over the next 6 months, our participation will involve engaging in individual mentorship sessions, participating in group workshops on horizontal and vertical mentoring, and attending roadshow events. We're excited to collaborate with the extensive network of 300+ investors, public and private lead customers, and innovation hubs that D2XCEL has assembled to support deep tech and digital ventures. We look forward to connecting with the rest of the cohort and leveraging the opportunities this program provides!

ecorbio was part of a delegation of 9 innovative EU SMEs, engaging with key stakeholders in Shanghai, Lingang, Suzhou, Taicang and Chengdu in China. This mission has again shown China's quick technological development and steadfast focus to become the leader in Greentech. A lot to be learnt. 🤝 A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful organising team at EU SME Centre and the companies and bodies that hosted our visit. With a decade of experience in the UAE's real estate industry, Abhinav has effectively managed diverse projects for industry giants like Dubai Holdings, focusing on infrastructure development and operational enhancements. As an industrial engineering graduate from Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Abhinav is currently pursuing an MBA at INSEAD, one of the world's top business schools, enhancing strategic thinking and analytical capabilities. Additionally, Abhinav is an Associate Member of The Energy Institute, London, and a participant in the Future Sustainability Leadership program with Masdar, UAE government. Originating from Bihar, India, Abhinav is passionate about sustainable development and innovative solutions to bridge socio-economic gaps.

Knowledge and passion for sustainability will help us drive innovation and efficiency across projects and laboratory operations. We're excited to have such a skilled Project Engineer on board - to grow and succeed together! ✴ Lujain Mohamed Ahmed, a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Nicosia, is joining for her summer internship in Business Development. With a strong interest in chemistry, design, manufacturing processes, and creative problem-solving, Lujain looks forward to gaining skills in market analysis, sales and negotiation, and project management. ✴Irineos Siambourtis, a third-year Bachelor's student at the University of Nicosia is also joining us for a summer internship. With a background in Business Administration (Entrepreneurship and Innovation), Irineos continuously seeks opportunities to learn and contribute. Outside of work, Irineos enjoys playing tennis, guitar and hanging out with friends - what an example of maintaining a great work-life balance!
