Technical Difficulties





Dear Readers and Licensees,

The past couple of days I've been experiencing a technical glitch that has rendered many of my photos sub par.  Both of my blogs are affected.  I pride myself on running a tight, aesthetic blog.  This is not how Oz product should be represented.  My readers and the wonderful licensees of Oz deserve better.  Please bear with me while I work to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Victoria and Albert Museum


Recently the Victoria and Albert Museum hosted an AMAZING costume exhibition.   In addition to a Dorothy costume, the Smithsonian generously loaned their ruby slippers to this exhibit.  It's believed this is the first time the shoes and dress have been together since the filming of the movie.  (I don't know if it counts but there was a Dorothy dress and Ruby Slippers sold at auction in 1970, sadly to separate buyers.  But in any case, it's been a very long time!)  You can see stills from the exhibit here:  http://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/style/a-closer-look-at-hollywood-costume/2012/10/17/283efcec-1877-11e2-a55c-39408fbe6a4b_gallery.html#photo=1

The Victoria and Albert Museum Gift Shop still have hardback and paperback books of the exhibition and posters.
