As the number of officially certified third-party MagSafe accessories grows, Mophie adds to the product pile with a new multi-device travel charger. It folds, stores away in a handsome felt case — and you can only get it through the Apple Store.
Mophie 3-in-1 Travel Charger
Mophie designed the new charger for travelers. It lays flat, like many chargers with similar designs, and can charge three devices — iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods case — at once. But then, when you’re ready to go, it folds up into a little stack.
The charger comes with an official MagSafe charging puck and Apple MFi-certification, meaning it can offer up to 15W of wireless power for your iPhone (whereas the vast majority of third-party MagSafe-compatible chargers top out at 7.5W).
Mophie does not refer to the charger supporting fast charging for Apple Watch Series 7, so it probably offers standard Apple Watch charging speeds.
The puck can pivot up or down so you can view your iPhone at different angles.
Matching travel case
The charger comes bundled with a detachable USB-C cable and a 30W wall adapter. All the parts fit neatly in the carrying case, made of gray felt to match the charger’s heathered fabric finish.
Mophie’s release comes on the heels of Belkin’s new MagSafe charging puck with an integrated kickstand and a two-meter braided cable.
