Uuringud 

Euroopa Regioonide Komitee raportööridele ja liikmetele parima teabetoe pakkumisel võib komitee pöörduda välisekspertide poole, kes koostavad teaduslikke uuringuid teatud huvipakkuvatel teemadel.

Lisaks komitee avaldatud uuringutele koostab ka Euroopa Parlamendi uuringuteenistus ülevaateid ja analüüse komitee nõuandetegevusega seotud ja seda toetavatel teemadel, nagu on ette nähtud Euroopa Regioonide Komitee ja Euroopa Parlamendi 5. veebruaril 2014 sõlmitud koostöölepingus.
