User talk:Enricopedia
Our first steps help file and our FAQ will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy. You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold contributing here and assume good faith for the intentions of others. This is a wiki - it is really easy. More information is available at the Community Portal. You may ask questions at the Help desk, Village Pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons. You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at Commons talk:Licensing. |

(P.S. Would you like to provide feedback on this message?) |
It looks like no one ever gave you a welcome! We're glad you're here++Lar: t/c 11:36, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for letting me know about your suggestion. I;ve commented there, (fixing what was a small formatting problem at the same time) that there are two templates (non final and final) per the Commons:Message templates plan. It certainly could use better wording though! ++Lar: t/c 11:36, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
ISS schemes
[edit]Could you prepare those schemes with numbered version?
If you could do this and make ISS as large as possible on image (reducing unused margins) :)
--WarX 12:40, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- Of course, I can. Do you want to keep the header with date and the caption with the explanaition of the colours? --Enricopedia 14:18, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- I added these two graphics . I guess they might serve your needs. I didn't create the same for the oldest graphic because it contains other elements and it might become twice the work to do it. --Enricopedia 17:55, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- Are the graphics okay or is there anything you want to have changed? Are you actually using one of them? --Enricopedia 17:18, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
Sorry!!
Didn't spotted your mesgs :(
In next few days I will present it to our project:astronomy on pl.wiki, thanks a lot :)
--WarX 00:58, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
NP! Just good to know! ;) Tell me, if I should change anything on them. --Enricopedia ⇄ 01:02, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
Translation possible
[edit]Thank you very much for creating the Translation possible template!! Lycaon 18:00, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you! Might translate the help page into dutch? ;) --Enricopedia 18:04, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- Done! Lycaon 18:26, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- Wow, thanx! I didn't expect you would really do it! :) But I meant also the Learn more page. Do you have time to translate that too? You could put it under Template:Translation_possible/Zie_hier_hoe. It's not so much text but of course takes a bit of your time. --Enricopedia 18:56, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- Done! Lycaon 18:26, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
signature css error
[edit]- I did. Thanx for reminding me. --Enricopedia ⇄ 22:19, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
ISS scheme translation
[edit]Hello
I've translated your ISS SVG scheme: Image:ISS configuration sep-2006 pl.svg - link it to your schemes if you like. --Leafnode 10:33, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
Hi! Thank you for your translation! I put new links on every version of the file and I added your version to ISS#ISS_configuration_changes. Greetings! --Enricopedia ⇄ 12:49, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
RFA
[edit]Hi! First of all I think you are well suited as admin. You might however lack some experience regarding Commons policy, especially copyrights etc. About the Flickr review, there is a proposal to allow Flickr review by non admins. Unfortunately that one seems a little dead :(. If you want to do Flickr review, you might somewhere ask confirmation that you are a trusted user etc. Try to get some more involved with helping users about licensing questions and general helping. I'll happily nominate you then for adminship! -- Bryan (talk to me) 19:40, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
- I started a a proposal for you to become the first official Flickr reviewer. -- Bryan (talk to me) 20:43, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
- You are now a reviewer. Use your this wisely. -- Bryan (talk to me) 21:09, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
Re: NilfaBot
[edit]Hey. thanks for the heads-up on my talk page. I corrected the script and checked it on that image you highlighted before carrying on. (damn case-sensitivity)--Nilfanion 23:13, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

Image deletion warning | Category:Commons trusted users has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry. If you created this image, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. If the file is up for deletion because it has been superseded by a superior derivative of your work, consider the notion that although the file may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new file. |

CC License
[edit]Hi
I noticed that you reviewed a picture I uploaded here at Commons, after having first uploaded it on Flickr under a CC BY SA 2.0 licence (2.5 isnt available on Flickr).
I'd like to know how I can make it into a CC BY SA 2.5 on Commons. Thanks.
--StéfanLD 18:08, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
I have started this as a central place to discuss issues with Flickr images. Please take a look. -- Bryan (talk to me) 09:28, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
Karte Kernenergie weltweit / Italien
Tip: Categorizing images
[edit]
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.BotMultichillT 12:23, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
