Object history |
English: The village, which belonged to the Eberstein dominion early on and was also called a town in the 14th and 15th centuries, was an Eberstein-Baden condominium from 1387 to 1676 and then belonged to the Baden-Baden county of Eberstein. The linchpin is probably the mark of Muggensturm. It is already depicted in the first Fleckensiegel (imprints since 1511) in a coat of arms and returns in all later seals, in the typars of the 18th century accompanied by two roses or additionally by a plowshare lying to the right. The roses are undoubtedly an indication that the village belonged to the county of Eberstein. The coat of arms was designed by the General Archive and adopted by the municipal council in 1901. It is based on the seal image of the 18th century. The shield and roses are based on the Eberstein coat of arms, the linchpin on a free choice of colors. |
