Español: Durante las celebraciones de Navidad, todo se llenan de guirnaldas, espumillones y adornos muy característicos la mayoria de ellos de inspiración vegetal. Junto con el clásico árbol de Navidad o la flor de Pascua, tambien encontramos entre las especies propias de estas fiestas, el acebo.
El hecho de fructificar en invierno le da a esta planta un valor ecológico muy importante, al ser una buena fuente de alimento para muchas especies, especialmente de pájaros, en la estación más dura por la escasez de recursos. |
