English: The Museum of Arts & Design (MAD) — at 2 Columbus Circle, in Manhattan, New York City. MAD was formerly named the Museum of Contemporary Crafts (1956-1986), and the American Craft Museum (1986-2002). It later moved to 2 Columbus Circle, and despite a serious preservation effort, MAD substantially redesigned the original facade of that building in the latter 2000s.
