English: The Lafayette Building is located at 811 Vermont Avenue NW (also known as 820 15th Street NW) in Washington, D.C. The building was constructed in 1940 to serve as the headquarters of the Federal Loan Agency and the Reconstruction Finance Corporation. It is now used by the Department of Veteran Affairs and the Export–Import Bank of the United States. The building is a National Historic Landmark and contributing property to the Fifteenth Street Financial Historic District and is listed on the District of Columbia Inventory of Historic Sites.
